Gail McNabb

I'm very excited to start my adventure as Principal of Ecole Springfield Elementary this year. I am entering my 36th year in education, most of which has been at the elementary level in grades 1 - 4. Furthermore, I was fortunate to be a learning coach with Peace River School Division for 7 years. My previous administrative experience includes four years as Vice-Principal and two years as Assistant-Principal at Ecole Springfield. In addition there were two years as a k-12 Vice-Principal at Swan Hills School. 
I was born in Edmonton and raised in Peace River where I live with my husband.  I love to walk, hike and enjoy the outdoors. Most recently, I can be seen riding my new spyder around town. 
I have been truly blessed to teach so many amazing students over the course of my career. And as a bonus, I am now getting to know many children of the students I taught!  Who could ask for anything more?
I look forward to a wonderful year ahead getting reacquainted with returning students and families as well as meeting new friends that join our amazing school community.
